Lights Lacquer Home for the Harvest Review
Little miss pumpkin
Color
Lights Lacquer describes this shade as a burnt pumpkin orange. I think the description is spot on! It is definitely a pumpkin shade but has a depth to it that doesn’t make it too bright. Orange is not a favorite color of mine so normally I wouldn’t be interested in an orange nail polish but this is truly the perfect shade for Halloween.
Finish
Little Miss Pumpkin is one of their crelly shades, which is described as a mix between a creme and a jelly. I’ve found their crelly shades to vary a bit in opacity and with such a bold color, I was a little worried about the finish. It is a bit sheer after the first coat but once I applied a second coat, it was fully opaque and didn’t need another coat to build it up. The crelly finish provides a nice shine for the vibrant shade.
If you’re looking for a great fall/Halloween shade, this is definitely it! Shop Little Miss Pumpkin here.
When September Ends
Color
When September Ends is described as a hunter green shade. I love this shade! I really didn’t think I’d be interested in a green nail polish but this shade is so beautiful and rich. It’s a perfect deep leafy green that does make me think of early fall but it’s also a perfect shade for winter and Christmas. I think this shade would also be so beautiful with a shimmery polish on top.
Finish
This polish also has a crelly finish. However, I found it to be more like their creme shades because it was pretty opaque after the first coat. I always apply two coats of polish so the second coat just helped to even out the shade. While this isn’t a matte shade, I found it to be less shiny than the crelly finish of Little Miss Pumpkin.

Figgy delight
Color
This shade is described as a plum purple. I think this is such a beautiful purple shade. It’s pretty deep in color but the purple vibrancy still shines through. I love the moody fall vibes that this color gives on the nails!
Finish
Figgy Delight is a creme finish, which is supposed to be smooth, creamy and opaque. You absolutely get the smooth opacity after the first coat. It’s pretty similar to the finish of When September Ends and Lady Marmalade even though it’s a true creme finish.
If you love purples or deep colors, this will definitely be a shade you enjoy! Grab Figgy Delight here.
Lady Marmalade
Color
Lady Marmalade is described as a cherry mocha shade. I was most excited for this shade because I love a deep red. I think it’s pretty accurately described as a cherry mocha because it does have a red cherry color but is a bit browner in color. Even though it’s more brown, the red does shine through. I think this is a great rich fall shade but it will also be great in winter.
Finish
Lady Marmalade is another crelly finish polish. I found the finish of this to be just like When September Ends where it’s pretty opaque after the first coat and the second coat just helps smooth it out. Even though it’s a crelly, it doesn’t have much shine to the finish like some of their other crelly shades.
This is definitely a must if you love deep moody shades! Pick up Lady Marmalade for yourself here.
Maple Street
Color
Lights Lacquer describes this shade as a mahogany brown polish with a fine golden shimmer. I would describe this a bit more as a copper shade that is more metallic than shimmery since it doesn’t have noticeable shimmer chunks or pieces. This is definitely a perfect shade for fall! I think this is going to be a really fun and easy to wear shade for anyone.
Finish
Maple Street is a magnetic polish that is supposed to have an appealing effect on the nails that looks like a textured or patterned finish when activated with a magnet. I find the finish to be super smooth and the shade is even upon the first coat. I can’t speak to the magnetic effect but I wasn’t able to find a strong enough magnetic to try this. However, I found the color to still be super vibrant and give a smooth metallic look.

I am An Autumn
Color
This is described as a brown purple polish with a purple green shimmer. Photos don’t do this shade justice! There are so many different colors in this shimmer shade that get picked up in different lights. At first it looks like a copper brown but it also has a lot of pinks and purples shining through as well as hints of green. On the Lights Lacquer instagram live to reveal the shades, they said this shade was made to look like the changing colors of leaves in fall.
I love the name of this shade – Gilmore Girls fans will definitely understand the reference!
Finish
I Am An Autumn is a shimmer finish polish. It is a shimmer shade but it’s quite sheer as it doesn’t really have a base color. I had to do three coats to build up this shade up fully on the nails. It does still look beautiful on its own when you build up the coats but I think it really shines as a topper shade over a solid polish. Honestly, I Am An Autumn would look amazing on top of all the other solid shades in this collection!

Final Thoughts
I really liked this Lights Lacquer fall nail collection! All the shades pair well together in the collection and give the perfect fall vibes. There is a shade for everyone and the finishes are so beautiful. I’ve always found the Lights Lacquer polishes to be really easy to apply, even if you’re a beginner to applying nail polish. I love that you can get a nice, smooth application usually after the first coat but certainly with two coats.
